Product Description

This thermostat controls the flow of coolant through the air-conditioning condenser loop. It opens at a calibrated temperature to allow refrigerant condensation, then closes to maintain system pressure when the engine is cold. A stuck-closed thermostat prevents the condenser from rejecting heat, which leads to high-side pressure spikes and reduced cooling performance. The original part matches the housing’s seal profile so the bypass circuit seats correctly during the expansion phase.
