This O-ring seals the turbo coupling in the drivetrain of the host tractor. It sits between the coupling housing and the rotating shaft, preventing pressurized oil from bypassing the clutch pack. A worn or hardened O-ring causes a pressure drop that leads to clutch slip and reduced torque transfer to the transmission. The ring is molded to match the original cross-section and shore hardness, so it seats correctly in the groove without requiring additional sealant. On installation, ensure the groove is clean and dry, and lubricate the O-ring lightly with assembly oil before fitting.
