This hydraulic pump is a fixed-displacement unit that supplies pressurized oil to the tractor’s implement and steering circuits. It mounts to the engine timing-gear housing and is driven directly by the gear train; the pump’s internal rotating group draws fluid from the reservoir and delivers it at a regulated flow rate to the downstream control valves. A worn pump produces slow implement response, reduced steering assist, and audible whine from the hydraulic system. The manufacturer machines the gear-set and housing bore to the same clearance as the original assembly, so the pump maintains the designed volumetric efficiency without requiring shimming or adapter plates. On installation, ensure the drive coupling engages fully and that the inlet line is free of debris; replace the O-ring on the pressure-port fitting.
