3053

New Holland 3053 – Engine: Vehicle Speed Sensing (Tacho) - PWM Frequency Too High

Issue description

The system has detected that the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) frequency from the vehicle speed sensing (tacho) is higher than the expected range. This may affect the accurate measurement of vehicle speed.

Check the cause

  1. The vehicle speed sensing (tacho) signal

  2. The wiring or connections to the vehicle speed sensing (tacho)

Repair steps

  1. Inspect

Inspect the vehicle speed sensing (tacho) for physical damage or wear.

  2. Test

Test the vehicle speed sensing (tacho) signal using a diagnostic tool to confirm the PWM frequency.

  3. Check

Check the wiring and connections to the vehicle speed sensing (tacho) for any loose, damaged, or corroded components.
