New Holland 5001 – Rear PTO: PTO Switch Activated During Tractor Power Up

The PTO cab switch, Auto PTO switch, or PTO remote fender switch is activated when the tractor is powered on. This condition may prevent the tractor from starting or cause unintended operation of the PTO system.

   Verify switch positions

   Ensure the PTO cab switch, Auto PTO switch, and PTO remote fender switch are in the off position before powering on the tractor.

   Reset switches

   If any switch is in the on position, manually return it to the off position.

   Power cycle the tractor

   Turn off the tractor, wait a few seconds, and then power it on again to confirm the issue is resolved.
