New Holland 5027 – Rear PTO: Low Side of PTO Solenoid Connected Permanently to GND

Issue description

The low side of the PTO solenoid is continuously connected to ground, which may cause improper operation of the PTO system. This condition indicates a fault in the electrical circuit associated with the PTO solenoid.

Check the cause

  1. The wiring connection of the low side of the PTO solenoid

  2. The integrity of the ground connection for the PTO solenoid

  3. The PTO solenoid itself for internal shorting
