New Holland 5037: Cab Rear PTO Switch Jammed On (Normally Off)

Issue description

The Cab rear PTO switch is stuck in the on position, which is not its normal state. This condition may cause unintended operation of the power take-off system.

Check the cause

  1. Cab rear PTO switch mechanism

  2. Switch mounting and alignment

  3. Switch actuation lever or linkage

Repair steps

  1. Inspect

    Visually inspect the Cab rear PTO switch for any physical damage or obstruction.
