New Holland 8005 – New Holland Front Pto: Front PTO Solenoid Circuit Short Circuit to B+ When Front PTO is Off

Issue description

A short circuit exists in the Front PTO solenoid circuit when the Front PTO is in the off state, causing an abnormal connection to B+.

Check the cause

  1. Front PTO solenoid wiring

  2. Front PTO solenoid connector

  3. B+ power supply circuit

  4. related wiring harness for short circuits

Repair steps

  1. Inspect

    Inspect the wiring and connector of the Front PTO solenoid for damage, wear, or improper connections.
