   Inspect the Electronic Draft Control (EDC) knobs on the armrest for physical damage, sticking, or liquid spills, which commonly short out armrest electronics.

   Test the wiring harness between the Armrest Module and the height limit potentiometer. Look for a short to a 12V or 5V power source and verify that the potentiometer has a solid ground connection.

   Use the tractor's H-Menu (Switch & Sensor Test Functions, specifically menu H9) to check the operation of the potentiometer and voltage supplies to see if the sensor is reading out of bounds.

   Attempt to recalibrate the front hitch via the IntelliView display (Hitch Cal menu). If the calibration aborts or fails to read the potentiometer sweep, the component is likely dead.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent shorting sensitive armrest electronics.

   Access the EDC Panel

   Carefully pry up or unscrew the Electronic Draft Control panel on the tractor's right-hand armrest to expose the underside of the control knobs.
