ARMRE 9011

New Holland ARMRE 9011 – ARM (Arm Rest Module): Controller Memory Error - Loss of Hitch Position Command Calibration

Issue description

The controller has lost the saved calibration data for the hitch position command potentiometer.

Applies to these machines

  • New Holland T6
  • New Holland T7
  • New Holland T8
  • New Holland T9
  • New Holland TG series

Check the cause

  1. Check power and ground connections to the armrest controller for intermittent supply issues

  2. Inspect battery connections, specifically ensuring a solid connection at connector C137 to the battery and proper grounding

  3. Assess memory integrity by attempting recalibration; if wiring is intact but calibration fails, the controller memory is defective

Repair steps

  1. Resolve Wiring Issues

Fix any loose grounds or power supply interruptions found during the diagnostic phase.

  2. Recalibrate the Hitch

Navigate to the instrumentation display and access the armrest setup menu (ARM SET MENU). Select the hitch configuration option (ARM HITCH) and perform the hitch position command calibration.

  3. Module Replacement

If the controller will not accept or hold the calibration, the internal memory is defective, and the Armrest Controller must be replaced.

  4. Software Flashing

If installing a new or remanufactured armrest controller, hook up the Electronic Service Tool (EST) to capture the controller and download/install the machine-specific software into the new module.
