Issue description
The system has detected that the signal voltage from the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF/Urea) pressure sensor has dropped below the acceptable threshold, typically due to a short circuit to ground, an open circuit, or an internal failure within the UREA pump module.

Check the cause
Inspect the DEF system for physical cracks, damage, or urea crystallization around the DEF pump/head unit
Inspect the wiring harnesses and connectors leading to the DCU and the UREA pump module for corrosion, chafing, or damage
Test the supply wire to the UREA pump module for a short circuit to ground or a broken wire
Verify that the DEF tank is filled with ISO 22241 compliant fluid and is free of contamination
Repair steps
Disconnect battery
Disconnect the battery to ensure no power is running to the DCU.
Drain DEF fluid and disconnect lines
Drain the DEF fluid from the lines if necessary, and disconnect the fluid lines from the UREA pump module.
Disconnect electrical harness
Disconnect the electrical harness from the UREA pump module.
Remove faulty UREA pump module
Unbolt and remove the faulty UREA pump module from its mounting bracket.
Install new UREA pump module
Install the new UREA pump module and torque the mounting bolts to OEM specifications.
Reconnect lines and harness
Reconnect the fluid lines and the electrical harness.
Program/calibrate new module
The new DEF pump/dosing module must be programmed/calibrated to the vehicle's DCU using the New Holland Electronic Service Tool (EST) after replacement.
Clear codes and test
Clear the fault codes and run a manual DEF dosing test to verify system pressure and confirm the repair.
