   Check for other error codes, specifically accompanying voltage or CAN bus codes that might indicate a broader electrical failure rather than an isolated DCU failure.

   Inspect the CAN bus wiring (CAN High / CAN Low) and the main harness connectors at the Dosing Control Unit for corrosion, backed-out pins, or wire chafing.

   Verify that the DCU is receiving proper voltage and has a clean ground connection, as power loss will drop the module off the J1939 network.

   Resolve wiring issues

   If the diagnostic checks reveal an open or short circuit in the CAN lines or power supply to the DCU, repair the wiring harness and clear the codes.

   Replace the DCU

   If the wiring is intact and the module is internally failed (unable to broadcast the E2SCR frame), the Dosing Control Unit must be replaced.
