New Holland EHR 4219 – EHR (Electronic Hitch / Electro-Hydraulic Remote): Rear Remote No.4 - Valve Spool Not Calibrated

The electronic controller does not have a valid calibration value saved for the spool travel limits of the 4th rear hydraulic remote valve.

   Check for active communication or voltage codes (such as EHR 4190-4192) that would prevent the EHR module from talking to the valve

   Verify the correct address has been assigned to the remote valve, especially if a valve was recently replaced or moved

   Stroke the valve back and forth several times using the cab controls to clear out internal debris and ensure the spool moves freely

   Bring the tractor's hydraulic oil up to normal operating temperature.

   Ensure no implements or hydraulic hoses are connected to the rear remote couplers.

   Access the tractor's programmable instrumentation display (e.g., IntelliView monitor) and navigate to the Main Menu.

   Select the Remote (Aux) System Calibration or Electro-hydraulic control valve - Calibrate menu.

   Select Rear Remote No. 4 and initiate the calibration process.

   On certain high-horsepower models like the T9 series, a special calibration tool harness, part number 380001903, may need to be connected to the valve block for this procedure.

   Follow the on-screen prompts to allow the system to learn the spool travel limits.

   If the calibration fails the first time, stroke the valve back and forth manually for a while and attempt the calibration again.

   Replace the spool position sensor or the valve slice itself if the valve repeatedly fails to calibrate.
