New Holland EHR 4326 – EHR (Electro-Hydraulic Remote) Control Module: Rear Remote No.7 -Position Transducer Faulty
Issue description
This code indicates that the position sensor (transducer) monitoring the spool movement for the #7 rear hydraulic remote valve is sending an erratic, out-of-range, or missing signal. Because of this, the system cannot determine the physical position of the #7 remote valve spool, which will typically disable the remote or prevent it from returning to neutral properly.
Applies to these machines
3 machines- New Holland T8.xxx Series
- New Holland T7
- New Holland T9
Check the cause
Visual Inspection: Inspect the wiring harness and connector at the #7 rear remote valve slice. Look for broken wires, corrosion, or pushed-out pins.
Voltage Test: Disconnect the sensor and turn the key ON. Verify that the sensor is receiving the proper 5V reference signal and has a good ground from the EHR controller.
Component Swap Test: Swap the position transducer from the #7 remote with a known good transducer from an adjacent remote (such as remote #6 or #8). If the fault code changes to follow the sensor (e.g., throwing EHR 4329/4330 for remote #8), the transducer itself is internally failed. If EHR 4326 remains active, the issue is in the tractor's wiring harness or the EHR controller.
Repair steps
Prepare machine
Park the tractor on a level surface, lower all implements, turn off the engine, and relieve all hydraulic system pressure.
Locate valve
Locate the #7 rear remote valve slice at the rear hydraulic block.
Disconnect harness
Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the faulty position transducer.
Remove transducer
Unbolt and carefully remove the position transducer from the valve body.
Install new transducer
Install the new position transducer, ensuring the mechanical linkage/pin aligns correctly with the valve spool. Torque the mounting bolts to OEM specifications.
Reconnect harness
Reconnect the electrical harness.
Perform calibration
Power on the tractor and use the in-cab display monitor (or a dealer electronic service tool) to perform a hydraulic remote valve calibration. This step is mandatory so the EHR controller can learn the new sensor's exact neutral, full-extend, and full-retract voltage values.
