This code indicates that the internal spool for the #8 electronic hydraulic remote valve is failing to return to its neutral (open center) position. This condition is typically caused by mechanical binding, debris lodged inside the valve body, a faulty internal position transducer (LVDT sensor), or a loss of valve calibration.

   Clear Debris: Stroke the #8 remote valve back and forth repeatedly (using the cab controls) to dislodge any debris that may be preventing the spool from centering.

   Inspect Wiring: Check the wiring harness and connector at the Rear Remote No. 8 valve section on the hydraulic stack for corrosion, damage, or loose pins.

   Attempt Recalibration: Access the tractor's display monitor and navigate to the Electro-hydraulic control valve calibration menu to see if the valve can successfully relearn its neutral setpoint.

   Identify the Valve

   Locate the Rear Remote No. 8 valve section on the rear hydraulic stack.

   Manually or electronically stroke the valve fully in both directions to clear potential contamination.
