This code indicates that the signal voltage returning from the decelerator pedal position sensor (potentiometer) has dropped below the minimum acceptable threshold. This typically points to a short to ground in the signal wire, an open circuit in the 5V reference supply wire, or an internal failure of the potentiometer itself. When this occurs, the engine control unit may miscalculate the desired throttle position, leading to sluggish acceleration, unexpected engine responses, or a forced idle state.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors running from the decelerator pedal potentiometer to the Engine ECU for chafed wires, pinched harnesses, or corrosion in the connector pins.
