   Connect the Electronic Service Tool, clear the code, and operate the machine to verify if the fault is intermittent

   Inspect the wiring harness from the ECU to the sensor for broken wires (open circuit) or rubbed wires (short to voltage)

   Locate the air intake temperature sensor on the engine (often located on the intake manifold, functioning as a combined boost pressure/temperature sensor).

   Disconnect and Inspect

   Unplug the sensor connector. Check the pins on both the sensor and the harness side for pushed-out pins, moisture, or green corrosion.

   Repair Wiring

   If the harness or connectors are damaged, repair or replace the affected wiring sections as required.

   Replace the Sensor

   If the wiring and connectors test good (no opens or shorts) and the code remains active, the sensor itself has failed. Remove the old sensor and install the replacement.
