New Holland ENG 3248 – Engine Controller: Shutoff Paths During Initialization - Supply Voltage Too Low

When the machine is keyed on, the engine controller runs a series of internal self-checks and initialization procedures. This code indicates that during this startup phase, the controller detected that the electrical supply voltage provided to its internal shutoff paths (safety circuits) was below the minimum required threshold.

   Measure the battery voltage at rest and during cranking to ensure it does not drop below the ECM's threshold during initialization

   Test the voltage at the main power supply pins on the ECM harness connector to ensure it matches battery voltage without significant drop

   Inspect the main ECM power relay and associated fuses in the fuse box for signs of burning, corrosion, or intermittent failure
