The ECU is unable to read stored adjustment values (IMA codes) from its internal memory. This is typically caused by a loss of programming, software corruption, or an internal hardware failure of the ECU's EEPROM chip.

   Check for Related Codes: Look for accompanying codes that confirm memory corruption, such as ENG 3374 (Injection Quantity Adjustment failure - Invalid EEPROM Adjustment Value Checksum) or 14900 (EEPROM error).

   Verify IMA Programming: Connect the CNH Electronic Service Tool (EST) to the machine's diagnostic port. Navigate to the engine calibration section and check if the Injector Adjustment Values (IMA codes) are missing, blank, or scrambled.

   Check Power/Ground: Verify the ECU power and ground circuits. A severe voltage spike or drop can sometimes cause temporary memory corruption in the controller.

   Locate Injector Codes

   Physically inspect the top or side of all fuel injectors on the engine and write down the alphanumeric IMA adjustment code for each cylinder.

   Reprogram the ECU

   Using the CNH EST, attempt to manually re-enter and save the IMA codes for all fuel injectors into the Engine ECU.

   Cycle Power

   Save the configuration, perform an ECU reset via the service tool, and cycle the ignition key off for at least 30 seconds.

   Re-test

   Turn the key back on and re-check for fault codes. If ENG 3373 clears and the values are retained, the issue was a software glitch or temporary memory loss.

   Replace ECU (If Necessary)
