   Filter Condition: Verify that the fuel filter is not severely clogged or full of water, though these conditions typically trigger related codes (e.g., ENG 3423 for Implausible Value or ENG 3424 for Fuel Filter Clogged).

   Preparation

   Stop the engine, turn off the key, and allow the machine to cool down.

   Unplug the electrical wire connector from the fuel filter sensor located on the fuel filter body/element.

   Place a catch pan underneath. Loosen the drain plug on the sensor/filter to drain the fuel from the housing.
