   Verify if the fault is currently active or just a stored historical code

   Check for active faults related to the camshaft or crankshaft sensors (e.g., 3088, 3089, 3090, 3091, 3092, 3093), as a physical timing sensor issue could skew the ECU's plausibility calculations

   Check for proper battery voltage being supplied to the ECU

   Ensure the Engine is OFF.

   Connect the CNH Electronic Service Tool (EST)

   Connect the tool to the machine's diagnostic port.
