New Holland ENG 3810 – Engine ECU (EDC / EDC7): Fuel Pressure Sensor: Rail pressure raw value is intermittent.
Issue description
The engine control unit has detected an intermittent fault or irregularity in the signal coming from the common rail fuel pressure sensor. This typically indicates a physical interruption in the circuit, such as a loose connection, damaged wiring harness, or an internally failing sensor, rather than an actual mechanical fuel pressure failure.

Check the cause
Inspect the circuit for a loose connection.
Disconnect the engine sensor harness from the rail pressure sensor.
Inspect the connector housing body and latch for physical damage.
Look closely at the pins for corrosion, moisture, or pushed-out pins that would cause an intermittent connection.
Inspect the wiring leading up to the connector for chafing, breaks, or shorts to ground/power.
Repair steps
Depressurize
Turn off the machine, remove the key, and allow the engine and high-pressure fuel system to cool down and fully depressurize.
Locate Sensor
Locate the fuel rail pressure sensor threaded into the common fuel rail.
Clean Area
Thoroughly clean the area around the sensor to prevent any dirt or debris from entering the open fuel rail.
Remove Sensor
Disconnect the 3-pin electrical harness and unscrew the old rail pressure sensor.
Install New Part
Thread the new OEM rail pressure sensor into the rail. Torque it strictly to the manufacturer's specified torque value found in your specific engine's service manual.
Reconnect
Reconnect the electrical harness, ensuring the latch clicks securely into place.
Test
Prime the fuel system if required, start the engine, check carefully for fuel leaks around the sensor threads, and clear the ENG 3810 fault code using a diagnostic tool.
