The engine control module has detected an issue with the fuel injector on cylinder #4, where the injector's energizing time is falling below the minimum acceptable threshold during the zero fuel calibration process.

   Connect the Electronic Service Tool (EST) using the Easy-Engine software

   Check the injector calibration code (IMA/IQA code) programmed into the ECU for cylinder #4

   Physically inspect fuel injector #4 and verify that the 7-digit alphanumeric calibration code printed on the injector body matches the code currently programmed in the ECU

   Reprogram the ECU

   If the injector code in the ECU does not match the physical code printed on injector #4, use the diagnostic tool to reprogram (code) the engine control unit to the proper injector code.

   Flash the ECU

   If the ECU appears to have lost its programming entirely, attempt to re-flash the engine control unit.

   Replace the Injector

   If the programmed code is correct but the fault persists, the injector has an internal defect and must be replaced.

   Code the New Injector

   After installing a replacement injector, you must program the new 7-digit IMA/calibration code printed on the new injector into the engine ECU using the diagnostic tool so that injection quantities are properly matched for that cylinder.
