The Engine Control Module (ECM / EDC) has broadcasted a fault code over the CAN-bus, but the main CNH vehicle module or instrument cluster does not have the software translation for that specific engine code. It acts as a placeholder code indicating an active engine fault that the tractor's display cannot interpret.

   Plug the CNH Easy tool (EST) into the machine's diagnostic port.

   Access the Engine Control Module (EDC) menu to view the specific, untranslated engine fault codes.

   Follow the troubleshooting steps for the specific EDC code you retrieved (e.g., sensor failures, fuel pressure issues, etc.).

   Clear Codes
