New Holland ENG 755 – ENGINE: Front Bank injector is bad.

This code indicates an electrical fault—such as an open circuit, short circuit, or failed solenoid—in the front bank of fuel injectors (cylinders 1, 2, and 3).

   Inspect the external wiring harness running from the Engine ECM to the valve cover pass-through connector for chafing, breaks, or shorts to ground.

   Check the valve cover gasket pass-through connector for oil intrusion, corroded pins, or loose connections.

   Remove the valve cover and disconnect the internal wiring harness from the front bank injectors (cylinders 1, 2, and 3). Measure the resistance across the terminals of each injector solenoid and compare to OEM specifications to identify a shorted or open injector.

   Ohm test the internal valve cover wiring harness to ensure the wires leading to the front bank have not become brittle and broken under the valve cover.

   Safety First

   Turn off the machine, remove the key, and disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shock or damage to the ECM.

   Access the Injectors

   Clean the area around the valve cover to prevent dirt from entering the engine. Remove the valve cover.

   Disconnect Wiring

   Disconnect the internal wiring harness from the faulty front bank injector(s).

   Remove the Faulty Injector

   Remove the high-pressure fuel line connected to the faulty injector. Remove the injector hold-down clamp and carefully pull the injector from the cylinder head.

   Clean the injector bore thoroughly. Ensure the old copper sealing washer is removed from the bore and not stuck at the bottom.

   Lubricate the new injector O-ring with clean engine oil. Install the new injector with a new copper nozzle tip washer.

   Reinstall the hold-down clamp and torque it to the exact OEM specification. Reconnect the high-pressure fuel line and torque it to spec.

   Reconnect the internal wiring harness to the injector solenoids. Inspect the valve cover gasket and pass-through connector; replace the gasket if the pass-through wiring is damaged. Reinstall the valve cover.

   Reconnect the battery. Bleed the fuel system if required by your specific engine model. Use a diagnostic tool to clear the ENG 755 fault code, then start the engine and check for leaks and proper operation.
