New Holland INST 10035 – Instrumentation Controller (INST): Controller Memory Error - Loss of Valid Radar Configuration information.

The controller has lost the saved calibration or configuration data required to communicate with and interpret the radar sensor. This is usually caused by an intermittent power/ground issue or an internal memory failure within the controller.

   Verify the power and ground supply to the Instrumentation Controller.

   Inspect connector CN2 at the controller to ensure it has a clean, tight connection to the battery and is properly grounded. Look for pushed pins, corrosion, or moisture.

   Check for intermittent voltage from the battery and alternator, as power drops can cause the controller's volatile memory to reset or corrupt.

   Secure Connections

   Make sure the controller has a good connection (connector CN2) to the battery and is properly grounded. Repair any wiring faults found during the diagnostic checks.

   Recalibrate the Radar

   Perform the radar calibration for the instrumentation controller exactly as outlined in your specific machine's Operator's Manual.

   Clear the Code

   Once calibration is complete, clear the fault code from the system.

   Test Operation

   Operate the machine to see if the radar reads ground speed correctly and if the code stays clear.

   Replace Controller

   If the calibration fails to save, or if the INST 10035 code immediately returns after a power cycle, the controller has suffered a permanent memory defect. The Instrumentation Controller must be replaced and programmed by a dealer.
