The internal memory (EEPROM) within the instrumentation controller has suffered a fault or corruption, causing it to lose the user's saved performance tracking data (such as area worked, distance traveled, and remote timers).

   Check Power Supply: Ensure the instrumentation controller has a clean, continuous connection to the battery (often designated as connector CN2 or C062).

   Check Grounds: Verify that the instrument cluster is properly grounded to prevent voltage drops that corrupt EEPROM memory.

   Reset Values: Manually check the performance monitor limits and reset the area, distance, and timer values.

   Perform diagnostic checks

   Perform the wiring and ground diagnostic checks listed above.

   Clear fault code

   Using the tractor's display menu or a diagnostic service tool, clear the INST 10036 fault code.

   Restart machine

   Shut down the tractor completely, remove power (turn the key off), and restart the machine.

   Evaluate fault return

   If the fault code does not return, the error was likely a temporary voltage glitch. If the INST 10036 fault code appears again immediately upon restart, the internal memory (EEPROM) of the controller has permanently failed.

   Replace instrument cluster

   Remove and replace the Instrument Cluster / Performance Monitor assembly.
