   Verify Controller Function: Ensure that both the transmission controller and the instrumentation controller are powering up and functioning properly.

   Inspect Connector C027: Locate the transmission controller and verify that connector C027 is securely plugged in.

   Check the Data Bus: Inspect the CAN Data Bus wiring and connections between the instrumentation controller and the transmission controller for continuity, shorts, or opens.

   Access the Transmission Controller

   Locate the transmission controller on your specific tractor model.

   Inspect and Clean Connections

   Disconnect connector C027 at the transmission controller. Inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture, or pushed-back terminals. Clean the mating pins and the connector thoroughly.

   Check Power and Ground

   Verify that the transmission controller is receiving proper operating voltage and has a solid ground connection. A controller lacking power will drop off the CAN bus, triggering this code.

   Test the CAN Harness

   Using a multimeter, check the continuity of the CAN High and CAN Low wires between the instrumentation controller harness and transmission controller connector C027. Repair any chafed wires, open circuits, or shorts to ground.

   Replace Faulty Controller

   If the wiring harness, power, and ground are all intact and connector C027 is making good contact, the fault lies internally within one of the modules. If the transmission controller is completely unresponsive to a diagnostic service tool, replace the transmission controller. If the transmission controller communicates with the service tool but not the dash, the instrumentation controller may require replacement.
