New Holland INST 13052 – INST: Air to Air Intake Temperature sensor voltage is too high (open circuit, short to +V)
Issue description
The system is detecting a voltage signal from the sensor that exceeds the normal operating range, which typically points to a broken connection (open circuit) or a wire shorting to a power source.

Check the cause
Check the resistance of the air to air intake temperature sensor using a multimeter to see if it has failed internally.
Inspect the wiring harness running from the instrumentation controller to the air to air intake temperature sensor for an open circuit or a short to power (+V).
Verify the operation of the instrumentation controller itself, as a failure within the controller can falsely trigger this high-voltage code.
Repair steps
Test the Sensor
Disconnect the air to air intake temperature sensor and test its resistance. If the resistance is out of specification (indicating the sensor has failed open), replace the sensor.
Repair the Harness
If the sensor tests good, trace the wiring harness back to the Instrumentation Controller. Repair any chafed wires shorting to a power source, and fix any broken wires or corroded pins causing an open circuit.
Address the Controller
If both the sensor and the wiring harness are in good working order, the fault lies within the Instrumentation Controller. The controller will need to be repaired, reprogrammed, or replaced.
