   Check if the front suspension is calibrated (if code NH 10024 is present, a simple recalibration may resolve the issue)

   Inspect the front axle position sensor (potentiometer) and its mechanical linkage for physical damage, disconnected rods, or binding

   Test the lower solenoid and lower lockout solenoid on the hydraulic valve block for open circuits or shorts to ground using a multimeter

   Check for mechanical binding in the suspension pivot points and cylinders, and ensure the lock valve is not stuck closed

   Preparation

   Park the tractor on a level surface, engage the parking brake, lower all implements, and turn off the engine. Relieve hydraulic pressure from the suspension system before loosening any valves.

   Sensor Linkage Repair

   If the position sensor linkage is bent or disconnected, repair or replace the linkage rod so the sensor can accurately read the axle's travel.

   Solenoid Replacement

   If multimeter testing reveals a dead or shorted lower solenoid or lockout solenoid on the suspension valve block, remove the retaining nut, slide off the faulty solenoid coil, and replace it. If the valve spool itself is stuck, the entire valve cartridge must be replaced.

   Sensor Replacement

   If the solenoids and wiring harness test fine, the position sensor (potentiometer) is likely sending an erratic signal, preventing the ECU from knowing the axle has reached the set point. Unplug the sensor, unbolt it from the axle housing, and install a new OEM sensor.

   Lubrication

   Grease all front axle suspension pivot points and cylinder pins to ensure no mechanical binding is holding the axle up.

   Calibration

   After replacing any suspension component (sensor, solenoid, or valve), you must perform the front suspension calibration procedure using the tractor's instrument cluster or a dealer diagnostic tool so the ECU can relearn the upper and lower limits.
