New Holland NH 14100 – ADIC (Advanced Display Instrument Cluster): Air brake pressure not configured

Triggers when the tractor's control module detects a signal from the pneumatic (air) brake pressure sensor, but the air brake system is currently disabled or not configured in the tractor's instrument cluster settings.

   Verify if the tractor is actually equipped with a pneumatic/air trailer brake system.

   If equipped (Configuration issue): Check if the instrument cluster has lost its settings or if the air brake system was accidentally disabled in the dash menus.

   If NOT equipped (Hardware/Wiring issue): Check the wiring harness for an erroneously connected sensor, a short circuit to voltage/ground, or moisture in a blanked-off connector mimicking a sensor signal.

   Turn off the tractor.

   Begin the configuration fix for tractors equipped with air brakes.

   Access the ADIC Setup Menu (H-Menu).

   On many models (like the T6000/TSA/Maxxum), press and hold the Menu and Enter keys simultaneously while turning the ignition key to the ON position.

   Locate the air brake setting.

   Once the Setup Menu appears on the dash display, use the arrow keys to scroll through the options until you find the air brake/pneumatic pressure symbol.

   Enable the air brake system.

   Change the configuration setting from 'NO' (or disabled) to 'YES' (or enabled).

   Save and verify.

   Save the setting, turn the ignition off, and turn it back on to verify the NH 14100 code has cleared.

   Locate the air brake pressure sensor connector.

   If the tractor DOES NOT have air brakes, locate the connector on the wiring harness (usually near the rear remote valves or trailer brake couplings).

   Disconnect any false sensors.

   If a sensor or dummy plug is installed and causing a false reading, disconnect it.

   Inspect the wiring harness.

   Look for chafing or shorts that might be sending a false 5V reference signal to the ADIC.

   Verify dash configuration.

   Ensure the dash configuration for air brakes is set to 'NO'.
