New Holland NH 15024 – Fast Steer Controller (KA module): System not calibrated

The Fast Steer system loses its calibration parameters or requires a new calibration routine following installation, maintenance, or repair. The Fast Steer indicator lamp on the dashboard will flash to alert the operator.

   Verify the symptom by checking if the Fast Steer lamp is flashing on the instrument cluster, confirming the uncalibrated state

   Ensure the tractor's hydraulic oil is at normal operating temperature (above 5°C / 41°F), as cold oil will disable the system and prevent calibration

   Check for related electrical faults, specifically active codes for steering wheel proximity sensors (15002/15003) or split valve solenoids (15006–15009), which will prevent calibration

   Warm up tractor

   Start and warm up the tractor to ensure the hydraulic fluid is above 5°C.

   Access diagnostic menu

   Access the tractor's diagnostic/calibration menu (often referred to as the "H-Menu") using the instrument cluster keypad or an authorized diagnostic tool.

   Navigate to module

   Navigate to the Fast Steer (KA) module subsection.

   Initiate calibration

   Initiate the Fast Steer / turn assist system calibration procedure. Follow on-screen prompts to turn the steering wheel lock-to-lock, allowing the controller to learn the end stops and sensor ranges.

   Save settings

   Save the calibration settings (on many models, this is done by holding the hour/minute buttons on the cluster until saved).

   Verify repair

   Restart the tractor and verify that the Fast Steer lamp has stopped flashing and the steering operates normally in Fast Steer mode.
