New Holland NH 3010 – Engine Controller / Engine ECU: Air (boost) Temperature Signal - SOURCE HIGH
Issue description
The control module is receiving a voltage signal from the intake manifold boost temperature sensor that exceeds the maximum allowable threshold (typically near or above 4.5V to 5.0V), indicating an open circuit or a short to a high-voltage source.

Check the cause
Visually inspect the boost temperature sensor (T-MAP) connector for disconnected wires, pushed-back pins, moisture, or corrosion.
Perform a continuity and open circuit check on the signal and ground wires between the sensor harness and the ECU.
Perform a short to power check on the signal wire with the key ON (engine off) to ensure it is not shorted to a 5V or 12V source.
Test the sensor resistance; if the wiring harness tests perfectly, the sensor itself has likely failed internally (open circuit).

Lubricate the O-ring on the new sensor with a small amount of clean engine oil.

Insert the new sensor into the manifold and tighten the retaining bolt to OEM torque specifications.
