New Holland NH 3026 – Engine Control Unit (ECU) / EDC: Atmospheric Pressure Signal - NO SIGNAL
Issue description
This code indicates that the control module is no longer receiving a valid voltage signal from the atmospheric (barometric) pressure sensor. A "NO SIGNAL" designation typically points to an open circuit, a severed wire, a completely failed sensor, or an internal module failure.

Check the cause
Connect the New Holland Electronic Service Tool (EST) and monitor live data for the Atmospheric Pressure Sensor (normal reading is 50-101 kPa; 0 indicates a lost signal)
Consult the engine schematic to determine if the sensor is externally mounted or built directly into the ECU circuit board
If the sensor is external: Inspect the sensor connector for moisture, dirt, corrosion, or backed-out pins
If the sensor is external: Check the wiring harness between the sensor and the ECU for chafing, cuts, or an open circuit
If the sensor is external: Test for a 5V reference signal and a good ground at the sensor connector with the key ON
If the sensor is internal to the ECU: Verify that the ECU is receiving proper primary power and ground, as a voltage drop can cause internal sensor failures
Repair steps
Turn the ignition OFF and disconnect the negative battery cable.
This is the first step for Scenario A (external sensor).
Disconnect the wiring harness from the atmospheric pressure sensor.

Remove the mounting hardware and pull the faulty sensor from its port.

Install the new OEM replacement sensor and tighten to the specified torque.

Reconnect the wiring harness, ensuring the locking tab clicks into place.

Reconnect the battery, turn the key ON, and use the EST diagnostic tool to clear code NH 3026.

This is the first step for Scenario B (internal sensor). If diagnostic testing confirms the wiring to the ECU is flawless but the internal atmospheric pressure sensor has failed, the ECU itself is the point of failure.
Disconnect the primary 60-pin and 94-pin (or similar) connectors from the EDC module.

Remove the ECU from its mounting bracket.

Replace the ECU with a new unit or send it to a certified CNH electronics repair facility.
