New Holland NH 3063 – Engine ECU: Injector solenoid valve Cylinder 1 - NO SIGNAL
Issue description
The engine control system is unable to communicate with or control the fuel injector on the first cylinder because the electrical signal is lost, typically due to the high-side wiring shorting out against the machine's chassis/ground or a severed connection.

Check the cause
Trace the injector cable from the Engine ECU to the Cylinder 1 fuel injector. Look for chafed, pinched, or melted wire insulation that could cause the high-side wire to short against the engine block or ground.
Disconnect the plug at the Cylinder 1 injector and the ECU. Inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture, or pushed-out terminals that would cause a 'No Signal' reading.
Test the Cylinder 1 injector circuit for continuity using a multimeter. Test the high-side wire for continuity to ground (it should read open/infinite resistance; if there is continuity, you have found your short).
Measure the internal resistance of the Cylinder 1 injector solenoid to ensure the injector itself has not failed internally (causing an open circuit).
Repair steps
Disconnect Power
Turn off the machine and disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent ECU damage.
Expose Cylinder 1
Remove any engine covers or valve covers necessary to access the Cylinder 1 fuel injector and its wiring harness.
Repair Wiring
If the diagnostic multimeter tests reveal a short to ground in the harness, locate the damaged section of the wire. Splice and heat-shrink the damaged wire, or replace the injector wiring harness section entirely.
Replace Injector
If the wiring tests perfectly but the injector solenoid fails its resistance test, the injector must be replaced. Remove the high-pressure fuel line (tube) connected to Cylinder 1. Remove the injector hold-down clamp/bolt. Extract the faulty injector and clean the injector bore. Install the new injector with a new copper sealing washer and O-rings. Reinstall the hold-down clamp and torque to OEM specifications. Reattach the high-pressure fuel line and the electrical connector.
Reassemble and Clear Codes
Reconnect the battery, bleed the fuel system if necessary, and use a diagnostic tool to clear the NH 3063 fault code from the Engine ECU. Run the engine to verify the code does not return.
