Issue description
A CAN BUS communication fault indicating the controller is receiving a signal or data packet regarding the Electro-Hydraulic Remote (EHR) valve #3 that it cannot validate or that conflicts with expected parameters. This is typically caused by a software inconsistency, a corrupted CAN BUS message, or a failing electronic component inside the remote valve's actuator head or the in-cab control lever.

Check the cause
Inspect the CAN BUS wiring harness and connectors between the Armrest controller (in-cab) and the Rear Remote No. 3 valve slice for chafed wires, corrosion, or loose pins.
Perform a swap test: Swap the electrical connector from the No. 3 remote valve to an adjacent remote valve (e.g., No. 2 or No. 4) to isolate if the fault is in the valve slice's internal electronics or the wiring/controller.
Test the multi-function handle or armrest potentiometer for Remote No. 3 for erratic voltage, which can cause the controller to deem the message implausible.
Verify the valve is receiving proper supply voltage to rule out voltage drops triggering implausible message faults.

If the diagnostic checks reveal harness damage, repair or replace the affected CAN BUS wiring pigtail leading to the rear valve stack.
Replace the Faulty Component
If the swap test proved the valve slice is faulty, remove the retaining bolts on the hydraulic valve stack, extract the No. 3 EHR valve slice, and install a replacement spool valve/electronic head. If the armrest control is faulty, replace the specific remote lever/potentiometer module in the cab console.
Perform Valve Calibration
After replacing an EHR valve or armrest controller, connect the diagnostic tool (or use the tractor's onboard display if supported) and initiate the calibration process for the newly installed valve to learn its neutral, extend, and retract set points.
Clear Codes
Clear the stored NH 4129 fault code from the EHR/ATC module memory and test the hydraulic remote under load to verify the repair.
