This code indicates that the control module is receiving a voltage signal from the external rear PTO switch (located on the rear fender) that falls outside the expected normal operating range.    Visually inspect the rear fender PTO switch for physical damage, cracked rubber boots, or heavy moisture/dirt ingress.

   Disconnect the switch and inspect the wiring harness connector for corrosion, pushed-back pins, or water intrusion. Check the wiring loom running down the fender for chafing or pinch points.

   Turn the ignition ON and use a multimeter to verify that the correct reference voltage (typically 12V or 5V) is reaching the switch connector.

   Test the switch itself for proper continuity in both the engaged and disengaged positions to identify erratic resistance values.
