New Holland NH 7032 – Autoguidance Controller (NAV Controller) or Vehicle/Transmission Controller: Steering angle sensor out of Minimum range
Issue description
The voltage signal returning from the steering angle sensor has dropped below the minimum acceptable threshold expected by the controller. This condition is typically caused by an open circuit, a short to ground in the sensor wiring, or an internal failure of the sensor's potentiometer/hall-effect element.

Check the cause
Visually inspect the steering angle sensor (mounted on the front axle kingpin, steering cylinder, or steering column) for physical damage to the housing or linkage.
Inspect the sensor's electrical connector and wiring harness for chafed wires, corrosion, or loose pins that could cause a short to ground.
Using a multimeter, verify that the sensor is receiving its 5V reference voltage and has a solid ground.
Monitor the signal wire while turning the steering wheel lock-to-lock. The voltage should transition smoothly; if it drops to 0V or stays below the minimum threshold, the sensor is internally faulty.
Repair steps
Power Down
Turn off the machine and disconnect battery power to prevent short circuits or accidental autoguidance engagement.
Remove the Faulty Sensor
Disconnect the electrical harness from the steering angle sensor. Unbolt the sensor from its mounting bracket on the axle kingpin or steering column.
Install the New Sensor
Mount the replacement sensor in the exact orientation as the old one and secure the hardware. Reconnect the electrical harness.
Perform Calibration
Power on the tractor and navigate to the calibration menu on the Intelliview display (or use the electronic service tool). The calibration procedure generally requires turning the steering wheel full left, full right, and driving straight ahead to set the null/center position.
Clear Codes
Clear the NH 7032 fault code from the display's fault menu and test drive the tractor to verify that autoguidance and steering track straight without wandering.
