New Holland SFA 10013 – Front Suspension Control Module (FSUS): Front suspension piston side pressure will not raise error
Issue description
This code indicates that the tractor's control system is commanding the front axle suspension to raise, but the hydraulic pressure on the piston side of the suspension cylinder is failing to increase to the expected level to lift the axle.
Applies to these machines

Check the cause
Check primary hydraulic fluid level and verify system relief valve pressure reaches 210 bar for the suspension system.
Inspect front suspension pump, tank, and lock valve solenoids for open circuits, shorts to ground, or over-current issues.
Inspect hydraulic lines feeding the front suspension cylinder and control valve block for external leaks.
Verify wiring and output of the piston-side pressure sensor.
Connect CNH diagnostic tool (e.g., 380000488) to the black diagnostic connector under the EDC panel and attempt a Suspended Front Axle Calibration (H1).
Repair steps
Depressurize the System
Safely support the front of the tractor using heavy-duty stands. Turn off the engine and relieve all hydraulic pressure from the front suspension accumulators and cylinder.
Disconnect Power
Disconnect the tractor's batteries prior to performing any work on the suspension control valves or sensors.
Valve Block Service
If the control valve is internally bypassing fluid back to the tank, remove the suspension control valve block. Inspect the internal spools and O-rings. Replace the faulty solenoids or the entire valve assembly if the housing is scored.
Cylinder Replacement/Rebuild
If the suspension cylinder itself is bypassing fluid internally (piston seals failed): Disconnect the hydraulic lines to the cylinder. Remove the pivot pins securing the cylinder to the front axle saddle and chassis. Remove the cylinder and either rebuild it with a new seal kit or replace it with a new/remanufactured unit.
Reassembly
Reinstall the cylinder and/or valve block. Reconnect all hydraulic lines and torque to OEM specifications.
Bleed and Calibrate
Refill the hydraulic fluid. Reconnect the battery. Start the tractor and bleed the air from the suspension system. Finally, use the CNH diagnostic tool to perform the mandatory front suspension calibration procedure. Clear the SFA 10013 fault code and test the suspension travel.
