New Holland SFA 10014 – Front Suspension Controller: Front Suspension Not calibrated error
Issue description
The tractor's Suspended Front Axle (SFA) system has lost its calibration parameters, or a previous calibration attempt failed or was interrupted. The suspension system cannot accurately determine its ride height or travel limits, which will typically lock out the suspension functionality until a successful calibration is performed.

Check the cause
Check for active hardware codes (e.g., 10015, 10018, 10019, or 10020). If any of these are present, the electrical fault must be fixed first.
Verify sensor readings using the diagnostic display. Ensure pressure sensors are not stuck reading a high value (codes 145 or 150) and the position sensor voltage sweeps smoothly without dropping below the absolute limit (code 141).
Perform a mechanical inspection with the tractor parked on a flat, level surface. Check the suspension cylinders and lock valves for physical binding or severe hydraulic leaks.
Repair steps
Prepare tractor for calibration
Park the tractor on a hard, level surface. Ensure the transmission is in Park and the parking brake is engaged.
Set engine speed
Start the engine and set the engine speed to the specified calibration RPM (typically 1200 RPM).
Access calibration menu
Access the diagnostic/calibration menu. On older EIC displays: Install the diagnostic tool (CNH 295041) into the black diagnostic connector under the EDC panel. Depress the button on the diagnostic switch until the instrument cluster displays H1 (Suspended Front Axle Calibration). On newer IntelliView displays: Navigate to the Calibration menu -> Front Suspension.
Initiate calibration sequence
Toggle the front suspension switch ON/OFF three times to initiate the calibration sequence.
Follow on-screen prompts
Follow the on-screen prompts. The tractor will automatically raise and lower the front suspension to its maximum and minimum limits to learn the position sensor voltages and pressure parameters.
Save calibration parameters
Once the display indicates 'END' or 'Calibration Successful,' cycle the key off for 30 seconds to save the parameters to the ECU.
Replace faulty sensors if calibration fails
If the calibration fails repeatedly, replace the faulty position sensor or pressure sensor identified during your diagnostic checks, then repeat steps 1-6.
