New Holland SFA 10024 – SFA / ICU / UCM / VCM: 12VF1 voltage supply is low

The voltage on the 12VF1 power supply circuit has dropped below the acceptable operating threshold. This circuit provides switched battery power (B+) to specific control modules, and the error is primarily flagged when the circuit loses power entirely, most commonly caused by a blown fuse.

   Inspect the fuse designated for the 12VF1 circuit (usually Fuse F-053, 5-amp).

   Inspect the electrical connectors between the fuse block and the UCM/VCM/SFA module to ensure they are securely connected, undamaged, and pins are tight.

   Test the 12VF1 wiring harness for continuity and check for a short to ground using a multimeter before installing a new fuse.

   Power Down

   Turn off the machine, remove the key, and engage the parking brake.

   Locate the Fuse Box

   Access the machine's primary fuse and relay panel (refer to the operator's manual for the exact location on your specific model).

   Check/Replace Fuse F-053

   Locate the 5A fuse in slot F-053. Pull the fuse and inspect it. If the internal filament is broken, the fuse is blown. Replace it with a new 5A mini fuse.

   Trace Wiring

   If the new fuse blows immediately upon turning the key on, there is an active short to ground in the 12VF1 circuit. Trace the wiring harness from the fuse block to the UCM/VCM, looking for chafed wires rubbing against the chassis. Repair any damaged wiring.

   Clear Codes and Calibrate

   Once power is restored and the wiring is secure, turn the machine on. If the code was logged in the SFA module, restoring power may trigger a secondary code (10024 - Front suspension not calibrated), requiring you to run the front suspension calibration procedure via the machine's display.
