Check the cause
Inspect the #1 auxiliary flow control dial on the armrest for physical damage, sticking, or lack of smooth resistance.
Access the underside of the armrest console and check the wiring harness connecting to the #1 flow potentiometer for loose connectors, pinched wires, or corroded pins.
Attempt to recalibrate the flow potentiometers for high and low flow limits in the Armrest Controller Calibration menu (AUX FLOW). Note: The standard instrumentation controller must be calibrated before the armrest controller.
Repair steps
Power Down
Turn off the tractor, remove the key, and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts while working inside the armrest.
Disassemble the Armrest
Remove the retaining screws and carefully lift the top cover/trim panels of the armrest control console to expose the internal circuit boards and potentiometers.
Locate the Component
Identify the specific potentiometer linked to the #1 auxiliary remote flow dial.
Remove the Faulty Potentiometer
Disconnect the wiring harness plug from the potentiometer. Remove the retaining nut, clip, or screws holding the potentiometer to the armrest housing and pull the unit out.
Install the New Part
Seat the new potentiometer into the housing, secure it with the retaining hardware, and plug in the electrical connector.
Reassembly
Carefully reinstall the armrest cover, ensuring no wires are pinched in the process.
Recalibrate
Reconnect the battery and turn the key on. You must perform the Armrest Controller Calibration procedure via the tractor's display/instrumentation menu. Navigate to the 'AUX FLOW' calibration menu and follow the on-screen prompts to teach the module the new potentiometer's high and low flow voltage limits.
Test
Clear the TMF 112 fault code and test the #1 remote valve to ensure proper flow control.
