New Holland TRANS 125 – Transmission Control Unit (TCU): Odd clutch is not calibrated.
Issue description
This code indicates that the transmission controller has lost the calibration data for the odd clutch pack (part of the powershift transmission), or a calibration procedure was interrupted or failed to complete successfully. Without this calibration data, the transmission cannot properly modulate the engagement of the odd gears, which can result in harsh shifting, jumpiness, or a complete loss of drive in those gears.

Check the cause
Check transmission fluid temperature (must be between 60°C and 80°C / 140°F - 176°F for a successful calibration).
Check for related electrical faults (e.g., TRANS 115 or TRANS 103) which indicate a hard electrical failure of the odd clutch solenoid that must be repaired before calibration.
Ensure the tractor is parked on a level surface with the handbrake applied.
Repair steps
Warm up transmission
Start the tractor and drive it until the transmission oil reaches the target temperature (approx. 60°C).
Prepare for calibration
Apply the handbrake and shift the shuttle lever into neutral.
Turn off tractor
Turn the tractor off.
Enter Calibration Mode
Press and hold both the upshift and downshift buttons (or the 'turtle' and 'bunny' buttons, depending on the model) simultaneously while starting the engine to enter Calibration Mode.
Verify temperature
The digital display will show the current transmission oil temperature.
Set engine speed
Set the engine speed to the specified calibration RPM (typically 1200 +/- 50 RPM).
Engage forward
Place the shuttle lever into the FORWARD position.
Select first clutch pack
Press the upshift (bunny) button to select the first clutch pack (the screen will display the clutch identifier, e.g., 'C1' or 'A').
Calibrate clutch
Press and hold the downshift (turtle) button to begin calibrating that specific clutch. You will hear the engine RPM drop slightly as the clutch engages. Keep the button depressed until the calibration number alternates with the clutch letter, or the screen displays 'End'.
Calibrate remaining clutches
Release the button, press the upshift button to select the next clutch pack, and repeat the holding process. You must calibrate all clutch packs in sequence (Odd, Even, C1-2, C3-4, etc.).
Save calibration
Once all clutches are calibrated, turn the ignition key off. This saves the new calibration figures to the transmission controller's non-volatile memory.
