New Holland TRANS 24 – Transmission Control Module (TCU): None of the transmission clutches are calibrated
Issue description
Indicates that none of the transmission clutches are calibrated. This is a software/memory condition that commonly occurs when a brand-new transmission controller is installed, or if the controller's non-volatile memory has been wiped due to a severe voltage drop or a system reset.

Check the cause
Verify if the transmission controller was recently replaced (this code is normal for a new, uncalibrated controller)
Check battery voltage to ensure batteries are fully charged (low voltage can wipe the module's non-volatile memory)
Warm up the tractor to bring transmission oil to working temperature (60°C - 80°C / 140°F - 176°F) to prevent cold error codes during calibration
Repair steps
Preparation
Start the tractor and drive it until the transmission oil reaches the optimal temperature (approx. 60°C - 80°C).
Enter Calibration Mode
Apply the handbrake. Turn the tractor off. Press and hold both the upshift and downshift buttons (often the 'bunny' and 'turtle' buttons) simultaneously while starting the engine.
Verify Temperature
Upon entering calibration mode, the dashboard display will show the transmission oil temperature.
Set RPM and Direction
Set the engine RPM to approximately 1200 (+/- 50 RPM). Place the shuttle lever into the FORWARD position.
Calibrate the First Clutch
Press the upshift button once to select the first clutch (usually displayed as Clutch A or C1). Press and hold the downshift button. The engine RPM will rise and then drop slightly as the clutch engages. Keep the button held until the engine speed decreases by about 50 RPM and the screen displays 'End' or alternates the calibration number with the clutch letter.
Proceed Through All Clutches
Release the downshift button. Press the upshift button to move to the next clutch (B, C, D, E, F or C2, C3, C4). Repeat the holding process for each individual clutch pack until all are calibrated.
Synchronization
Once the final clutch is calibrated, the display will show 'syn' (synchronize) or 'CF' indicating the range synchronizers are in neutral and calibration is complete.
Save and Exit
Turn the ignition key OFF. This crucial step saves the new calibration figures into the controller's non-volatile memory. Restart the tractor to verify the TRANS 24 code has cleared.
