New Holland TRANS 2911 – Transmission Control Unit (TCU): 12VT1 voltage supply is low. (possible blown fuse)
Issue description
The 12-volt power supply on the specific 12VT1 electrical circuit has dropped below the acceptable threshold or is completely missing, flagging a potential blown fuse which interrupts power to specific transmission or vehicle control functions.

Check the cause
Check the primary power distribution fuse box for a blown 10A or 15A mini blade fuse responsible for the transmission controller / 12VT1 circuit.
Verify the tractor's main system battery and alternator voltage (12.5V+ resting, ~14V running) to rule out systemic low voltage.
Visually inspect the 12VT1 wiring harness leading to the transmission controller for chafing, pinched wires, or melted insulation.
Disconnect the transmission controller harness and inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture, or pushed-out terminals.
Repair steps
Disconnect Power
Turn off the tractor, remove the key, and disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical spikes.
Replace the Fuse
If the 12VT1 fuse is blown, replace it with a new fuse of the exact same amperage (do not upsize the fuse).
Trace for Shorts (If Fuse Blows Again)
If the new fuse blows immediately upon key-on, you have an active short circuit. Use a multimeter to check for continuity to ground on the 12VT1 circuit wire. Trace the harness along the chassis to locate and repair the damaged wire using automotive-grade heat-shrink connectors.
Clean and Re-seat Connectors
Apply dielectric grease to the transmission controller connectors and firmly re-seat them to ensure a good connection.
Test the System
Reconnect the battery, turn the key on, and clear the inactive fault codes using the tractor's diagnostic menu or a CAN-bus service tool. Test the transmission through its gear ranges to ensure the code does not return.
