   Visually inspect the transmission harness leading to the auto guidance isolation valve for any bare wires, chafing, or loose connections

   Use a multimeter to test the isolation valve solenoid circuit for continuity. Check for an open circuit, a short to ground, or a short to battery voltage (B+)

   If you have access to a compatible machine, swap the transmission controller (TCU) with a known good unit to see if the fault follows the controller or stays with the tractor

   Verify with a dealer if there is a software update available for the transmission controller, as software glitches can sometimes trigger driver faults

   Locate the Valve

   Identify the auto guidance isolation valve on the machine's hydraulic/steering block.

   Disconnect the electrical connector at the valve. Check for water intrusion, bent pins, or corrosion. Clean and apply dielectric grease if necessary.

   Test the Solenoid

   Measure the resistance of the isolation valve solenoid with a multimeter to ensure it falls within OEM specifications. If the solenoid is open or shorted internally, the valve (or solenoid coil) must be replaced.

   Repair Wiring

   Trace the wiring harness from the valve back to the Transmission Controller. Repair any damaged, pinched, or bare wires found during the visual inspection.

   Update/Replace Controller

   If the wiring and the valve solenoid both test perfectly, the internal driver inside the Transmission Controller has likely failed. Have a dealer flash the controller with the latest software. If the code persists, replace the Transmission Controller.
