Product Description

This bushing fits in the front axle kingpin assembly of the host machine. It provides the bearing surface for the steering knuckle, allowing the wheel hub to pivot left and right under load. Wear in this bushing creates excess clearance, which produces a knocking sound during steering and accelerates wear on the kingpin and seal. The bushing is machined to the original Carraro bore tolerance so that the kingpin rotates freely without slop. On replacement, press the bushing into the axle housing until it is flush with the bore face.
