This hanger fork connects the upper or lower link arm to the tractor’s three-point hitch frame. It serves as the pivot point that transmits lift force from the hitch arms to the attached implement. The fork is machined with a threaded bore that accepts the lift-rod ball joint; the two clearance holes at the opposite end accept the hitch-pin and the implement’s lower-link pin. A worn fork develops elongation at the pin holes, which introduces play in the linkage and reduces the accuracy of implement depth control. The manufacturer machines the fork from a single thickness of steel bar, maintaining the original hole spacing and thread dimensions so that the replacement installs without shimming or bushing adapters. On installation, ensure the hitch pins are fully seated and retained with the original locking hardware.
