This solenoid valve controls the hydraulic flow to the three-point hitch linkage. It receives an electrical signal from the tractor's electronic hitch control (EHR) system and modulates the spool position to raise, lower, or hold the implement. The valve is mounted on the hitch control block and directly governs the lift cylinder response. A sticking or leaking solenoid causes erratic hitch movement or failure to hold position. The Rexroth-manufactured unit matches the original valve's flow characteristics and mounting geometry, so the control system calibration remains unchanged. On reinstallation, ensure the O-ring seal at the valve body interface is clean and undamaged.
