This cab filter captures airborne dust and pollen before air enters the operator station. It sits in the filter housing mounted inside the cab structure, upstream of the blower and HVAC evaporator core. A loaded filter reduces airflow, causing the blower to run longer at higher speed to maintain cab pressure, which increases fan-motor wear. The filter media is pleated to maximize surface area within the housing depth. On replacement, ensure the seal gasket seats fully in the housing groove to prevent unfiltered bypass air.
